WALES ON SALE FOR WINTER 2009
American Airlines Special Promotion through Travel Wales
Wales
is the land where the prince in line for the English crown comes from,
or at least his title. England’s little brother to the west,
divided from the mother country by mountains and marshes, Wales has kept
much of its own cultural personality, parts with its own language and
a mystic of lyrical romantic past. For
a first time tourist to Wales or the returning already enchanted visitor
the Welsh travel organization
and American Airlines
has combined
for a savings offer to visit Wales in the cooler months from January
to March. With the current dollar to pound exchange rate at close to
$1.50 to £1, down from approximately 2 to 1 only a few months ago,
and the lowest its been in almost 20 years, a journey to discover Wales
may be a trip not to miss. American Airlines® is offering a special
discount valid for travel from any destination in the 48 contiguous United
States to the UK for up to two people for travel between January 12,
2009, and March 12, 2009 ($540 including Taxes and Fee from New York).
The discounted airfare is combined with winter savings offers from TravelWales.
