TOURS OF SPAIN
Intrepid Andalucia and Moorish Spain
Spain is unique in Europe for its Moorish influence in architecture, history and its people. The Muslim Moors crossed the Strait of Gibraltar in the 700s and conquered the Visigoths, transforming much of the Spanish peninsula into an Arabian caliphate called Al-Andalus. The moors went on to take much of southern Europe, but their presence remained the longest and most influential in Spain. The southern part of the modern country is now Andalucia. To visit this special world where east meets west, Intrepid tours offers two tours of Andalusia and Moorish Spain.
Active Travel Spanish Andalucia
