THE LONDON EYE - OBSERVATION WHEEL
Flying over London at the Thames

Coca Cola London Eye CapsuleIt was originally called the “Millennium Wheel” and originally sponsored by British Airways but has since just become the London Eye and now sponsored by Coca-Cola. Other great “ferris” wheels have sprouted around the world, but the London version at the time of its opening was the world’s tallest tourist observation wheel and is still the tallest cantilever wheel. The glass enclosed capsules of the London Eye wheel rise 135 meters over London along the banks of the Thames River. The London Eye has become a permanent fixture on the London skyline and either way you look at it, the eye is a quite a ride, offering a magnificent view of one of the world's great cities. It is one of Britain's most popular commercial sight-seeing destinations, visited by more than 3 million people a year, so plan ahead.

Theme Rides and Private Capsules: The London Eye offers a number of themed rides in private capsules for couples or groups: including Champagne Ride, Cupid’s Capsule, Hotel Chocolat Capsule, Wine Tasting, or just come up with your own.
